Join us on Friday 23 October 5pm-6.30pm (SAST), Saturday 11am-1pm (SAST),
and 6.15am on Sunday for the 3Peaks Challenge.

How do we feel connected in a world that is increasingly physically disconnected? Remote and online working has become the rule rather than the exception. Join the first virtual UCT GSB Alumni Reunion Weekend from 23 to 25 October 2020 where a panel of speakers will explore the impact of our digital newly Connected World.

The programme gets underway on Friday evening from 17:00pm-18:30pm(SAST), with Professor Mark Graham who will introduce new UCT GSB Director Dr Catherine Duggan. Learn more about how Dr Duggan sees the UCT GSB playing a significant role in doing business in Africa and find out more about how she sees her role in leading the UCT GSB going forward. Questions and answers will be moderated by Dr Grieve Chelwa, Senior Lecturer and MBA Programme Convenor. Later on, celebrity chef Jenny Morris the Giggling Gourmet, will host a cooking class to close the programme.

On Saturday between 11:00 and 13:00 (SAST) listen to a panel of speakers including former Public Protector of South Africa, Professor Thuli Madonsela, entrepreneur and venture capitalist Vusi Thembekwayo, Executive Manger & CMO of FlySafair, Kirby Gordon (FT MBA 2010), and visiting faculty, Professor Rasoava Rijamampianina. Our MC is Ariella Kuper (MBA FT 2002). The programme will be introduced by GSB Deputy Director Associate Professor Kutlwano Ramaboa and closed by new GSB Director, Dr Catherine Duggan.

On Sunday morning, join the annual 3Peaks Challenge physically if you are in Cape Town or virtually on Strava.

This event will enable you to build trusted partnerships, expand your network, and gain a better understanding of “The Connected World” and the potential that lies within it. Register here to attend.
