One Response to Readings

  1. Professor John Carlisle says:

“This means that in their turn, business schools need to be autocritical and rethink what they offer to the world.”
Walter, it also means metanoia time, as Senge wrote about 20 years ago, i.e. just what have we in BS’s been teaching, what paradigms have we been working from that have permitted, or even reinforced, the hubris? Classically, at my Sheffield Business School, they have recommended reading Jack Welch as a business leader- uncritically! Many have not heard of Tom Johnson or Paul Hawken or even Deming. There is an epistemological gap that needs addressing urgently.
